AGA running costs

The cost of running your AGA cooker depends on various factors, including the model you own, your choice of fuel, and your cooking habits.

Among the AGA cookers, the Everyday Radiant Heat range, encompassing the AGA eR3 Series and the AGA eR7 Series, offers greater controllability. These models can be turned on and off as needed, allowing you to manage energy consumption more effectively.

On the other hand, the 24/7 Radiant Heat collection is designed to be continuously operational, which may result in higher running costs. However, it also eliminates the need for other electrical appliances such as heaters, electric kettles, toasters, and tumble dryers.

New AGA Models

The latest AGA models, the AGA eR3 Series and 7 Series, introduce enhanced flexibility and control. This means you have the opportunity to significantly reduce running expenses. These models boast fast heat-up times and the ability to operate individual ovens and hotplates separately. Moreover, adjustable temperature settings and the option to deactivate functions when not in use provide you with the power to regulate your energy consumption. For instance, hotplates are designed to heat up within 10-12 minutes, eliminating the need to leave them on unnecessarily.

Among these models, the AGA eR7 Series cooker stands out for its exceptionally low running costs among heat-storage cast-iron range cookers. This cooker is fully programmable, ensuring the most efficient operation. You can check the running costs for the eR7 models here:
