Garton King Covid-19 Policy –13th July 2020
As a company, we are taking the Covid-19 very seriously whilst doing our utmost to maintain service to all of existing, new and prospective customers. In accordance with Government guidelines, our Darts Farm showroom reopened on 15th June 2020 and we are a fully Covid-19 secure shopping and showroom environment. We will be maintaining strict social distancing measures throughout our business and would ask customers to strictly observe this also.
Please note that our 19 North Street Showroom will remain CLOSED for the time being, open only for deliveries and by a strict appointment-based system only for viewing of the cookers there.
Our offices and warehouse are also now open albeit with currently less staff. Until we are back to a full complement of employees please be patient with us, our staff are working hard to answer all enquiries and action all work requested as soon as we are able to. The current situation will though affect lead and response times in some form, unfortunately. Our staff members will be monitoring and replying to all emails on email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org and all calls to 01392 254945 and 01392 549539 will be diverted to key individuals for all sales, service and repair calls and enquiries. If however you ring and no one answers after 6 rings, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you within 24 hours, unless at the weekend. Out of hours, the phone will go straight to voicemail and we will get back to you. All voicemails will be closely monitored.
Our Engineering team continue to be on call and available for essential work such as repairs/breakdowns, servicing of AGA cookers and priority will be given to vulnerable people who have no other source of cooking or heating, and now also cooker deliveries and installations, as well as refurbishments. All of our engineers are carrying alcohol hand sanitiser and will wear gloves and masks in the course of their work. Please be very conscious of social distancing during their visits. We are acting at all times in accordance with the latest Government and NHS advice.
We would also ask any customers who have emergency essential work arranged but who find that they have to self-isolate because of possible infection to inform us so that we do not send our engineers out because they would not be able to complete any work in such circumstances. You can re-arrange a date for such work after the period of self-isolation.
Current Opening Hours:
Darts Farm showroom- Opening hours Monday to Saturday 10am until 5pm, Sunday 10am until 4.30pm
North Street showroom – Closed to customers – open only on an appointment basis.
Offices and warehouse – Opening hours – 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday
