Garton King Covid-19 Policy – 1st May 2021
As a company, we continue to take the Covid-19 Pandemic very seriously whilst doing our utmost to maintain service to all of our existing, new and prospective customers. In accordance with the Government announcement of another national lockdown our business will be adhering to this strictly. Both our North Street and Darts Farm showrooms have now reopened according to the schedule and perimeters outlined by the Government.
Our office and administration team remain open either on a sole office basis or from home. All sales channels are open and all appliances we sell, customers can continue to purchase including cookware. Our suppliers including AGA Rangemaster have also confirmed they will continue to manufacture and deliver although lead times may, of course, be affected.
Our Engineering team continue to carry out all aspects of their work (servicing, repairs, AGA installations and deliveries). For servicing and repair work priority will be given to vulnerable people who have no other source of cooking or heating. All of our engineers are carrying alcohol hand sanitiser and will wear gloves and masks in the course of their work as well as maintaining a 2m distance from themselves and customers where possible.
Please note that when a member/s of our engineering or AGA site visit team visit your property all customers are required to wear a mask ensuring full nose and mouth coverage. If you cannot wear a mask, please vacate the room whilst our staff member is there. Please maintain a distance of at least 2m at all times and where possible vacate the room. If your AGA is being repaired or serviced please make sure that the AGA is sanitised before our engineers work on it. These measures are for your and our engineers’ safety.
Although our office and warehouse remain open there will be less staff working at any one time. Please be patient with us, we are working hard to answer all enquiries and action all work requested as soon as we are able to. The Covid-19 situation may, unfortunately, affect delivery times due to possible delays in AGA Rangemaster manufacturing and logistics. Service and repair work may also be affected but we will do our best to get out to everyone as promptly as possible.
Our staff members will be monitoring and replying to all emails on firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com and all calls to 01392 254945 (office) and 01392 549539 (Darts showroom) are working for all sales, service, installation and repair enquiries. If however you ring and no one answers after 6 rings, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you within 24 hours, unless at the weekend. Out of hours, the phone will go straight to voicemail and we will get back to you.
We are acting at all times in accordance with the latest Government and NHS advice.
We would also ask any customers who have work arranged but who find that they have to self-isolate because of possible infection to please inform us so that we do not send our engineers out. You can re-arrange a date for such work after the period of self-isolation.

Monday to Friday – 9.30am until 5.30pm
Saturday – 9am until 5.30pm
Sunday – 10.30am until 4.30pm
North Street showroom – Reopened Monday 12th April 2021 – Monday to Friday 9.30am until 4.30pm
Office and warehouse –Open during office hours – 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday
